Located in a shipping container in the middle of the neighborhood, Ritual brings coffee to locals and visitors directly from their producers, roasting and brewing locally in San Francisco.

Two Sisters Bar and Books

Inspired by a bookstore in Krakow, a coffeehouse in Vienna, and a bar in Paris, Two Sisters is the neighborhood’s small conversation bar, serving up interesting seasonal cocktails and small bites in an intimate setting.

Biergarten

Biergarten is Hayes Valley’s own a tiny, Bavarian style neighborhood beer garden right on Patricia’s Green. Featuring a rotating selection fine beers from some of the oldest breweries in the world, Biergarten also boasts a menu with a variety of Bavarian specialties, among them pretzels, sausages, and their famous Wednesday Burger.

Casey’s Pizza

Casey’s is a neighborhood staple on Saturdays, serving up crispy-thin, old world style pizzas out of the Bay Area’s first pizza truck. With a focused menu of just three types a day, pies are made from scratch with organic and seasonal ingredients on site.

Jules Maeght Gallery

The Maeght’s history dates back to 1945 in Paris, when their first gallery debuted a series of Matisse’s wartime drawings on opening night, deeming the gallery a cultural center for contemporary artists. Grandson Jules Maeght brings a similarly forward-thinking approach to his gallery on Gough St., highlighting both emerging and established modernist artists.
